Golf has become an increasingly popular sport in China over the past decade, so many Beijing golf courses have sprung up around the city catering to its upwardly mobile population of Chinese and foreign businessmen. Most Beijing golf courses are designed in an American style, with wide fairways and manicured greens.
Beijing CBD International Golf Club - Golf course

This 18-hole course is a par 72 PGA-standard golf course with Blue Grass fairways and Bent Grass greens. Located a few miles east of Beijing’s Central Business District (CBD), the course is convenient to the city and is the only Tournament Player Course in Asia.

Designed by Benz & Poellet in 1985, this 18-hole, par 72 golf course sits in the leafy, international northeast area of Beijing, not far from Capital International Airport. Tall trees line the fairways and the 405-yard, par 5 opening hole offers a distant view of the Great Wall.

This sprawling golf complex near the Chaobai River in Northwest Beijing has 54 holes spread over several courses. The par 72 complex was designed by Cheng Chen Bo and opened in the late 1980s. In addition to the golf club, a range of activities are offered at Beijing Country Club, including tennis, a swimming pool, weightlifting and bowling.

This mild, leafy golf course has a plethora of trees and sweeping fairways. Designed by Tom Pearson, the Bejing Daxing Golf Club boasts an 18-hole, par 72 course located in Daxing, about 20 km south of Tiananmen Square. This club is part of the Open Fairways program and accepts the Golfer’s Passport.
